Working Principle of Simo Motor's SLQ Series High-Voltage Cage-Type Motor Starting Cabinet
A special liquid resistance with the functions of voltage division and current limiting during starting is connected in series to the stator circuit of the motor. During the starting process, the resistance value of the liquid resistance automatically changes steplessly from large to small within the preset time. When the resistance value approaches zero, the liquid resistance is automatically cut off, and the motor is put into operation.

The starting current is small, which is 1.5 to 3.5 times the rated current of the motor.
The starting process is smooth without impact, ensuring the reliable operation of the power grid, effectively protecting the motor and transmission machinery, and extending the service life of the equipment.
It can be started continuously 5 to 7 times, and its starting performance is better than that of starting with a series reactance cabinet or a thermal variable resistance.
It has a complete alarm prompting function and motor protection function.
It is controlled by PLC, with high reliability.
The SLQ series high-voltage cage-type motor has a simple structure, is easy to maintain, and has low technical requirements for maintenance personnel.
For different load conditions and different application scenarios, the "rotary plate" structure and the "flat plate" structure with independent patent rights have been respectively developed, making it widely applicable.
To meet the special requirements of frequent starting scenarios, Taifu Simo Motor has developed a high-voltage cage-type starting cabinet for frequent starting with independent patent rights, which well overcomes the drawback that the conventional high-voltage cage-type starting cabinet cannot be started frequently.
